Signage at Windsor Station
Montréal, 1999-2000

Site: Windsor Station, located in the heart of Montréal, was built for Canadian Pacific Railway Company in the late 19th century. A key component of the city's architectural heritage, the station has been transformed into a prestige office complex replete with restaurants and shops. Given the direct link to Montréal's Underground City, people flow through Windsor Station is high.

Mandate: Design and develop a signage system; devise the wayfinding programme, and oversee project management, including wayfinding in public and private interior spaces, as well as exterior building identification.

Awards: Grafika 2001 grand prize in institutional signage category. Signs of the Times 2000, second prize in sign systems category.
